Cancelling an appointment
We understand that sometimes your circumstances change and you need to cancel. We require at least 48 hours advance notice when you cancel an appointment with our psychologists – or a cancellation fee may apply. This amount of notice allows us to make arrangements to fill your session with another patient, thanks for your understanding.
We would prefer that you phone us to cancel. Please call using the contact details listed on this page.
Providing feedback or making a complaint
Our patients have rights and responsibilities.
We do our best to uphold your rights and treat you with compassion, respect and in accordance with all applicable laws.
Want to make a complaint?
Please let us know. Talk to us or send us a letter or email about what happened and why you are unhappy. You can speak with a practitioner or the practice manager. We will listen and provide a response in good faith.
You can also complain about any aspect of any health service through the Office of the Health Ombudsman, whose role is to act impartially in dealing with complaints.
Want to provide feedback?
We love to receive feedback about your success in working with our pracitioners – but you may also simply have suggestions for improvement. Feel free to contact us directly. All feedback helps us understand your needs and improve our service.
Sharing your feedback online is also great: it helps our practice to grow by providing genuinely useful insights for other potential patients, who may wonder if our practice is right for them.
Ways you can provide feedback also includes sharing your story on the independently-run, public Care Opinion website.
