We take our support into prisons…

Our Reclaim Wellness (formerly Drug Offender Intervention and Treatment (DO-IT)) program is offered to Queensland correctional centres to help inmates whose offending was alcohol or drug related, and who expect to be released within the next six months.

WHAT DOES IT INVOLVE?

The 24-session program provides participants with the knowledge, skills and motivation to achieve and maintain an alcohol and drug free lifestyle on release.

Working in groups, topics discussed include:

  • understanding addiction and change
  • addressing unhelpful thinking patterns
  • managing cravings
  • establishing support networks
  • and relapse prevention.

We can refer participants to other internal and external services for further support post-release if required.

IS THERE A COST?

No, this program is delivered free of charge.
