We’re a supportive organisation of about 400 employees. Find where your skills would best fit by first getting to know our directorates and the teams within them.
Whether you are directly with people who have problems with drugs and alcohol or are in a support or corporate role, everything you do helps us, help others.
Together, we are working to reach people in need, turn lives around, break down stigmas and see people depart with goals and hopes for a brighter future.
We have many various clinical and non-clinical roles across our services in Queensland and regional NSW, which include:
- community-based counselling, support and case management
- youth and adult outreach
- residential care, delivering programs in six-week cycles
- family, mental health and problem gambling support
- transitional through our work in correctional centres
- social enterprise
- support services from our Brisbane-based head office
- and workforce development.
Counselling is one of the foundation stones of our commitment to care. We aim to deliver professional counselling using evidence-based therapies. We provide supervision and structure for our counsellors and support their training and development to help them build a meaningful career.
Our counsellors go on to learn and apply the best practice in AOD and mental health treatment, as we are constantly seeking ways to improve our support in line with the latest approaches and research, especially through our partnership with the University of Queensland.
Our residential services provide comprehensive, research-informed care and support people who are engaged in a six-week program. Our teams work closely with clients in support of their recovery goals within a structured framework of care. Roles include Alcohol and Drug Support Workers, Case Managers, Nurses, Wellbeing Support Workers, Social Workers, Administration/Reception workers and volunteers. It may involve overnight or weekend shift work. Here, you work very much as part of a compassionate team and have the rewarding experience of supporting people to recover and make positive changes as they work through the program.
Our support services based in Spring Hill, Brisbane, provide essential behind-the-scenes technical and professional support to our clinical teams out in the field. With an organisation of this size, you will find a great deal of variety in your role and what you do will have an impact. Roles include Accounts, Payroll, IT, Marketing and Communications, Human Resources, Operations, Project Management, Business Development and Workplace Health and Safety.
