Do I need to stop taking drugs or drinking alcohol to come to the program?
We are a harm minimisation program, which means we work with women to reduce the impact of using drugs and alcohol. If you decide to attend a group, you need to commit to actively participating and to not being intoxicated when you attend.
Is there a cost?
We rely upon contributions to assist us in costs of items not covered by our current funding, e.g. food, resources and materials for group programs, and general maintenance of the cottage. We would appreciate a contribution of up to $20 when you attend counselling or group. If you cannot afford this, you are still welcome to attend.
Is there childcare provided?
Dianella Cottage does not have childcare on site but we can support you to arrange childcare if needed.
