Want the facts on drugs & alcohol? Just give us a call!
Our Coomera Healthy Living for Youth (CHLY) program works with young people to educate them about the effects and risks associated with drugs and alcohol. We also provide tips on how to stay safe and healthy. CHLY works with young people between 12 and 25 years, providing free support, education and counselling about alcohol and drug use. We also offer assessments and referral advice.
WHAT DOES IT INVOLVE?
We work with young people to help them understand how certain behaviours influence their health, safety and wellbeing. This can include:
- alcohol and substance use
- tobacco use
- risk-taking that can result in injury or violence
- self-esteem and resilience building
- physical activity
- healthy eating.
CHLY works closely with local high schools and other youth services.
Our friendly staff will talk to you about your options and how we can best help out.
DO I NEED A REFERRAL?
