ConnectWell - information for health and service providers

What is ConnectWell?

ConnectWell is Lives Lived Well’s new free digital service to help your clients with a range of mental health and alcohol and other drug concerns. Launched in 2025, ConnectWell and complements our current services and delivery, giving clients access to tailored, flexible support.

How does ConnectWell work?

Once clients are registered and have completed their baseline Outcome Measure (‘check in’) survey, their ConnectWell portal populates with tailored clinical modules and activities. They can complete these activities at a time and place that suits them, and access their saved answers again in the future for discussion with their clinician or support person. Clients can also send messages to ConnectWell digital clinicians, who respond within 2-3 business days; these digital clinicians and peer workers are also available for telephone and video sessions.

Clients can access ConnectWell alongside their other Lives Lived Well programs, or use it as a self-directed, stand-alone service.

Who is suitable for ConnectWell?

ConnectWell is ideal for clients with dual diagnoses, as the platform supports mental health, alcohol and other drugs challenges, and general wellbeing. Our ConnectWell clinicians have a screening process where they consider a variety of factors like a client’s previous treatment programs, current access and use of digital technologies, and their interest in digital support.

ConnectWell is open to a small number of clients so we can adequately monitor the platform in these early stages. We welcome referrals from other service providers (pending availability). You can submit a referral for your client here, or you can contact the team at [email protected] to discuss referrals further.

ConnectWell’s tools have been developed by clinical psychologists, with many materials based on Lives Lived Well’s mental health programs currently being delivered in-person across Queensland. Interactive activities are based on CBT approaches to mental health and alcohol and other drugs.

Is ConnectWell accredited?

In early 2025 ConnectWell achieved accreditation for the National Safety and Quality Digital Mental Health Standards, a Government Standard that aims to improve the quality of digital mental health service provision.
