headspace Upper Coomera officially opens
headspace Upper Coomera is celebrating the opening of its doors, providing a vital new mental health service for young people aged 12-25 in the growing northern corridor. Gold Coast Primary Health Network (GCPHN) has commissioned Lives Lived Well to run the centre.

New Rockhampton Day Program for young people
Free alcohol and drug counselling for young people aged between 12 and 21 years in Rockhampton and surrounding communities, starts Monday 1 June through a new program funded by the State Government and delivered by Lives Lived Well.

New headspace for Upper Coomera
Gold Coast Primary Health Network (GCPHN) has announced that Lives Lived Well has been appointed to establish the new headspace for Upper Coomera, to provide mental health services to young people aged 12-25 in the local community.

Our COVID-19 Response – We’re still here
Lives Lived Well has shifted its alcohol and drug and mental health support to telephone and online platforms in response to the COVID-19 virus and to help safeguard the health of clients, staff and their families.

Support Hotline opens for vulnerable Queenslanders in COVID-19 quarantine
Queenslanders in home quarantine as a result of COVID-19 will be able to access advice, information and support through the Queensland Government’s Community Recovery Hotline. Minister for Communities Coralee O’Rourke today (21 March) announced the hotline had been activated by the Palaszczuk Government to support people who have been advised to quarantine at home by a medical professional, Queensland Health or through government direction.

Opening of New 20-bed Recovery Centre in Caboolture
On Monday 9 March we officially launched Wunya, a new live-in alcohol and drug recovery centre in Caboolture. Lives Lived Well Chair, Damian Wright, and Federal Member for Longman, Terry Young, spoke at the launch.

Funding boost to Rockhampton region
Lives Lived Well is pleased to be given the opportunity by the State Government to deliver an evidence-informed alcohol and drug treatment program out of a new rehabilitation recovery centre to open in Rockhampton in 2021.

Lighthouse Service Launch
On Friday 11 October we launched Lighthouse, a new community-based treatment service for young people with severe and/or complex mental health needs, at our new space in Southport. Lives Lived Well CEO Mitchell Giles and GCPHN Director of Commissioning (Programs) Libby Carr spoke at the launch.
