We work in partnership with Act for Kids and other community organisations, in support of helping to safeguard children…

Young Family Support works with families who have been referred to us by Act for Kids and other community organisations. We aim to add value to case management plans already in place, by providing specialised alcohol and drug counselling.

WHAT DOES IT INVOLVE?

Our Young Family Support program involves alcohol and drug assessment and counselling.

DO I NEED A REFERRAL?

You don’t need a GP referral. You can self-refer through our website here. If you have limited access to the internet or would prefer to speak to us to request a referral, please phone the Contact Team on 1300 727 957.

Often families are referred to us by Act for Kids but we do accept referrals from other community and government organisations. We accept online provider referrals from other health professionals, services and community and government organisations or they can fax referrals to 07 5546 8223.

IS THERE A COST?
No, services provided by our Young Family Support program are provided free of charge.
